الدكتورة سهى عبد السلام المهدي هي من أصل عربي. وهي تعمل في مجال العمل لأكثر من 17 عامًا في مستشفيات الولادة العامة والمستشفيات الخاصة وفي العيادات التي تساعد اللاجئين
إن تجربة الدكتورة سهى فريدة من نوعها بمعنى أنها لا تغطي فقط النشاطات العائدة للولادة والولادة وما بعد الولادة ، بل تساعد أيضا على مساعدة الزوجين العقيمين في الحصول على طفلهما الأول.
حصلت الدكتورة سهى على دبلوم الدراسات العليا ودرجة الماجستير في طب التوليد وأمراض النساء. علاوة على ذلك ، عملت الدكتورة سهى كمتظاهرة ومرشدة أكاديمية لطلاب الطب في كلية الشارقة الطبية ، الإمارات العربية المتحدة. كانت الدكتورة سهى معلمة دعم حياة أساسية سابقة ، معتمدة من جمعية القلب الأمريكية
